Chronomix 8000 Series Interval Timers are easy to use for timing practice sessions or matches. Users can easily program a count down series of action and rest periods including differentiating between action and rest with different horn signals.
For example: to time a practice session, a timer can be set for a 3-minute action time followed by a 30-second rest period and repeated 3 times. Each time the start button is pressed the timer will repeat the same 10 and ½-minute program.
An interval timer can also be used for timing actual matches. By setting the length of a period as an A program and the length of a time out as a B program, the operator can switch from one to the other as needed.
The IR remote is powerful enough to start the timer from up to 40 feet, typically from across a mat. Once started, the ProTime Interval Timer relieves the coach of timing duties and allows his/her time to be spent coaching.
