The time base is a custom quartz crystal, manufactured to operate within a tolerance of 10 ppm at 70 degrees F., which is equivalent to a maximum variance of .036 seconds per hour or, .864 seconds in 24 hours. NIST traceable certificate of calibration can be provided.
