MULTILANE ACCESSORIES
Multilane accessories are available in Three Lane, Ten Lane and individual lane cables for from 1 to 10 lanes. They can be used with both the CC737 Timer and with Displays to expand the timing capabilities. With the capability of timing in 10 separate channels, you can prevent finish line backup by using multiple finish lines or the "Toll Booth" method of timing. In races with high peak arrival rates at the finish line, runners can be directed into more than one chute to prevent backup at the finish line. The three timing channel connectors on the CC737 front panel can be used to time up to three chutes, or an optional multi-line box or cable will allow up to ten chutes to be timed. It will be easier for the timers if different categories can be directed into separate chutes; otherwise they can be difficult to spot during high peak arrival times. The different categories are distinguished on the printout by their channel number (category) and place within the channel. The overall place in the race and the time are printed just to the right on the same line. If the CC737 is connected to a computer at the finish line, all of this information is also sent to the computer and can be sorted almost as quickly as the data is received. Before and after peak density of arrival, normal select timing can be used.
MutliLane Cables
MultiLane Cables allow each timer to be positioned very close to the lane or chute. Cables can be placed overhead with a timing cord hanging down at each chute or the cable can be taped to the floor such as at a swimming pool. Timing cords are usually placed 4 feet apart for swimming pool lanes. Other configurations can be ordered.
