TRIPODS

Chronomix offers strong tripods which can be configured for uneven ground with their sturdy tubular legs and locking cross braces. The Tripod feet can be adjusted from outdoor spikes to indoor rubber feet. Keeping in mind that a display presents a large sail area to the wind, any stand can be a problem in high wind conditions. Experience has shown that under normal conditions these tripods provide a dependable support. Platforms, which are designed to fit specific Chronomix displays, bolt securely to the tripod head and the display is held to the platform with thumb screws.

Three tripod models are available. Please supply the model number of the unit to be supported.

Economy Tripod with adjustable head. For holding photocells and reflectors. Maximum height 5 feet. Can also be inverted to hold photo cells a few inches from the ground. Folds to 26 inches.

Light Tripod. 5 foot maximum height, folds to 26 inches. Holds the CC7300 and CC8000 series displays (4 inch and 2.3 inch high digits).

Medium Tripod. 7 foot maximum height, folds to 34 inches. Holds the CC1000, CC2000 and CC3000 series displays which have up to six, 6 inch high digits. Can also be used with the CC7300 or CC8000 series where a greater height is desired.

Heavy Tripod. 9 foot maximum height, folds to 43 inches. Holds the CC1000, CC2000 and CC3000 series displays which have 9 inch high digits and displays which have seven, eight or nine 6 inch high digits. Can also be used with any of the displays listed for the medium tripod where a greater height is desired.
